Digby Area Recreation Commission provides meaningful leaisure for enriched living to all citizens of the Town and Municipality of Digby

Digby Area Recreation Commission also provides leadership and assistance to community groups who are developing recreation and sports programs.  SUpport may take the form of funding assistance through local, provincial, or federal programs or providing leadership and resources to help them achieve their goals.

Digby Area Recreation Commission oversees the management of; Digby Area Arena, Digby Swimming Pool (outdoor), Digby Curling Centre, Don Brown Memorial Ball Filed, Vaughn VanTassell Memorial Playground, and assist with maintenance of the soccer fields and Digby Elementary School and Digby Regional High School.

Digby Area Recreation Office Hours of Operation

Monday to Friday; 8:30pm-4:30pm

* The recreation office is usually closed during holidays and may be closed briefly during lunch (12-1pm)
